Fraud alert!
Remain vigilant! A new email scam is circulating wanting victims to believe that they have been summoned by the RCMP to answer to some sexual crime allegations. Fraudsters are pretending to be RCMP employees and use the RCMP and other government agencies logos.
If you require immediate assistance, please call 9-1-1.
The RCMP does not accept reports of crime via e-mail or social media.
To report a crime, or for immediate police assistance, contact the police service of jurisdiction in your area.
If you live outside Canada, please contact your local police service and ask them to make a request for assistance from the appropriate Canadian law enforcement agency.
You can provide anonymous and secure tips by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-711-1800 or by Secure Web Tips.
