RCMP Traffic Services Central impounds three uninsured vehicles in one day

Yesterday, RCMP Traffic Services Central conducted a number of traffic stops in Grand Falls-Windsor, Bishop's Falls and Botwood. Three vehicles were seized and impounded for having no insurance.

A 46-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, both from Bishop's Falls, were among these three violators. They were stopped in Grand Falls-Windsor and in Bishop's Falls respectively.

The third violator was a 30-year-old Botwood man who was stopped in Botwood. In addition to having no insurance, he was driving while suspended and was in breach of a condition of a release order. He was arrested and released at the traffic stop. He is set to attend court at a later date for breaching a condition of a release order.

All three were ticketed for the appropriate charges under the Highway Traffic Act.
