Three people (from left to right: a uniformed female RCMP officer, a male wearing a ball hat and a plaid shirt and a uniformed male RCMP officer) stand behind a table. There is a cake on the table and a banner in the background that says
A male wearing a black hat, black coat and jeans stands on one side of a lit Christmas tree. A uniformed female RCMP stands at the other side of the tree. The picture is taken in front of an RCMP detachment at night.

RCMP NL congratulates Braden Clarke of Whitbourne on his acceptance into the RCMP Training Academy (Depot) in Regina, SK. He departs tomorrow to start his training.

Braden has been a long standing volunteer within the community, having served on the Whitbourne Volunteer Fire Rescue team and working as a civilian volunteer with the Whitbourne Army Cadets. He is also no stranger to the Whitbourne RCMP Detachment, though not for reasons of concern! Braden is leaving his employment as a guard at the local detachment. Additionally, he has volunteered his time assisting with the Whitbourne RCMP Wish Tree over the past few years.

Whitbourne RCMP Detachment employees congratulated Braden earlier this week and wished him well.

Congratulations Braden, RCMP NL wishes you all the success during your training!
