On Sept. 2, 2022, Parkland RCMP conducted a crime reduction initiative that targeted offenders with outstanding warrants in the Parkland RCMP detachment area.
Multiple residences were attended, and numerous offenders were located and arrested for a range of offences. In total, fifteen individuals were arrested resulting in the execution of thirty warrants. Six offenders were held for judicial interim release hearings; two offenders were remanded into custody. Others were released with documents compelling them to attend court.
Parkland RCMP will continue to implement crime reduction initiatives and address the root cause of crime in the area.
