The 24-year-old man reported missing from Moncton, N.B., on November 17, 2022, has been located deceased.
On November 22, police located a body in a wooded area off of Paris Boulevard, in Irishtown near Moncton. The body was later identified as the missing 24-year-old man. At this time, police believe the man's death to be suspicious, and are investigating the death as a homicide.
The same day, a 42-year-old man from Moncton was arrested in connection with the investigation. He is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on November 23, at 1:30 p.m.
The New Brunswick RCMP Major Crime Unit is now leading the ongoing investigation. An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man's exact cause of death.
