Moncton man sentenced to 20 months in custody in for Methamphetamine trafficking

On Wednesday, February 24th, 2021, Shaun Silliker from Moncton, NB was sentenced to 20 months in custody in Summerside Provincial Court for possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine. Mr. Silliker was also placed on a lifetime weapons prohibition order and ordered to provide a sample for the DNA databank. This conviction stems from an arrest the Prince District JFO Drug Unit effected on Mr. Silliker on March 6th, 2019 where 162 methamphetamine tablets, a small amount of crystal methamphetamine, hydromorphone, cash, and weapons were seized.

The Prince District JFO Drug Unit is comprised of police officer from the RCMP, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services.
