Happy Valley-Goose Bay man charged with multiple sexual offences against youth

Following a comprehensive investigation by Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP, with the assistance of the RCMP-RNC Integrated Internet Child Exploitation Unit and RCMP Digital Forensic Services, 38-year-old Glenn Noseworthy of Happy Valley-Goose Bay was arrested last week and charged with a number of sexual offences involving youth. It is alleged that Noseworthy used the social media app Snapchat as a tool to lure youth.

He is charged with the following criminal offences:

  • Sexual Interference
  • Invitation to sexual touching
  • Two counts of making sexually explicit material available to a child
  • Luring a child
  • Sexual Assault
  • Forcible confinement
  • Extortion

He was released from custody on multiple conditions and is scheduled to attend court on November 29, 2021.

Up to this point in the investigation, two youth were determined to have been targeted by Noseworthy. The RCMP believes there may possibly be others.
