Bay St. George RCMP seizes vehicles and tickets drivers

This car, operated by a suspended driver, was seized and impounded by Bay St. George RCMP on June 4, 2021.

Bay St. George RCMP seized two vehicles and ticketed the drivers following recent traffic stops.

Shortly after 11:00 p.m. on June 4, 2021, police were on patrol in Point au Mal and conducted a traffic stop. The driver, a-23-year old man, was driving with a suspended driver's license. He was ticketed for driving while suspended and his vehicle was seized and impounded.

At approximately 10:15 a.m. on June 9, police were on patrol in Port au Port and conducted a traffic stop on Hynes Road. The driver, a 56-year-old man, was driving without registration or insurance. He was ticketed for the two violations and the vehicle was seized and impounded.

RCMP NL continues traffic enforcement across the province and continues to fulfill its mandate to protect public safety, enforce the law, and ensure the delivery of priority policing services in Newfoundland and Labrador.
