UPDATE: Shane White was arrested by Bay St. George RCMP at a residence in Spruce Brook on January 9, 2025.
Deer Lake RCMP and the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in Corner Brook are looking to arrest wanted man, 39-year-old Shane Roderick White of Benoit's Cove, who is actively evading police.
White is wanted in relation to a number of charges including:
- Robbery
- Robbery with the use of a firearm
- Extortion with a firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle
- Failure to attend court – two counts
- Failure to comply with a condition of a release order – eight counts
