RCMP in Kinngait investigating house fire

Kinngait, Nunavut

On March 10th, 2024, at around 11:30 pm, the Kinngait RCMP responded to a house fire at 3211-A. The Kinngait fire department with the assistance of local bystanders were able to extinguish the fire. Two youth and an adult male sustained minor injuries that required medical attention. All three were released from medical care the following day.

It has been determined the fire is suspicious in nature.

The investigation is on going, police are seeking anyone who may have information related to the incident to call the Kinngait RCMP at 897-0123.
