Prince Albert RCMP investigating firearm discharge

On April 10, 2024 at approximately 10:00 p.m., Prince Albert RCMP received a report of a firearm discharge in Northside, Saskatchewan.

Officers responded immediately. Investigation determined an altercation occurred between occupants in a truck and another vehicle in front of a business in Northside.

Following the interaction, the second vehicle drove away. The truck began chasing and shooting at the second vehicle on Highway #2. The truck later turned onto a grid road south of Johnson Hill Road and headed towards Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

The occupants reported no physical injuries.

The truck is a Dodge Ram and is described as dark in colour. It has grey wheel flares, original rims, and no sidestep running boards.

Prince Albert RCMP continues to investigate. Investigators are asking anyone in the Northside area who may have witnessed suspicious activity, or captured surveillance footage in this area during the evening of April 10, to contact them.
