Prince Edward Island, August 22, 2024 – PEI RCMP are reminding motorists to remain vigilant and prepared for unexpected situations when driving. This follows two separate collisions that occurred yesterday, including an incident in Stratford where a cyclist was struck and suffered minor injuries.
In addition, there was a collision involving pick up truck and a loose horse on Baldwin Road in King's County. Tragically, the horse did not survive the collision, the driver involved was unharmed.
"For all of us who share the roadways, these types of incidents serve as reminders to always be vigilant as the unexpected could be just a head of you," said Cpl Gavin Moore, Media Relations Officer for the Prince Edward Island RCMP.
