Nelson House RCMP looking for missing man

On May 22, 2024, at approximately 11:20 am, Nelson House RCMP received a report that Christopher Travis McDonald, 32, of Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation was missing since the morning of May 16, 2024.

McDonald had been camping in the bush with a group of people. The camp was on Highway 391 west of Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation. McDonald has not been seen since he reportedly left the camp on foot.

RCMP have conducted extensive patrols. RCMP Search and Rescue as well as RCMP Police Dog Services are en route to the community to assist with the search.

McDonald is described as 6 feet tall, 143 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and white Ecko sweater and black pants.
