JFO made a targeted traffic stop of a vehicle heading to PEI on the Confederation Bridge yesterday morning at just after 2:00 a.m. Three people were arrested, two charged and approximately 15 grams of fentanyl was seized. 31-year-old Courtney Fogarty and 25-year old Graydon Hearn, both of Summerside, have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and will appear in Summerside provincial court at a later date.

Fentanyl is often sold by the 1/10th of a gram, so this seizure represents approximately 150 potential uses.
