On May 22, 2024 at approximately 2:45 p.m., Canora RCMP received a report of human remains located on Railway Avenue in Canora.
Investigators consulted with a forensic anthropologist and pathologist, who examined the remains. At this time, investigators do not believe the death is suspicious. The individual has not yet been identified.
Investigators have notified loved ones of individuals who were previously reported missing in the Canora area and have not yet been located. This investigation is ongoing and an update will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
