Fatal motor-vehicle incident

A 51-year-old man from Canaan Station, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash in the community.

On April 10, 2024, at approximately 7 a.m., members of the Caledonia Region RCMP, Ambulance New Brunswick and Saint-Paul Fire Department, responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 485 in Canaan Station. The driver and sole occupant died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist and a member of the New Brunswick Coroner's office are assisting with the investigation. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the man's exact cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
