Fatal motor-vehicle incident

A 40-year old man from Richibouctou-Village has died following a single-vehicle crash in the community.

On March 28, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., members of the Richibucto RCMP Detachment, Ambulance New Brunswick and Richibouctou-Village Fire Department responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Richibouctou-Village Road, in Richibouctou-Village. The driver and sole occupant died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist and a member of the New Brunswick Coroner's office are assisting with the ongoing investigation. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the man's exact cause of death.
