Yellowknife RCMP seek public’s assistance in identifying shooting suspects

On June 17th, 2023, the Yellowknife RCMP responded to a complaint of a shooting on Bigelow Crescent. The responding officers determined that a woman had sustained injuries after having been shot. At the time of the shooting, RCMP were advised that three men were seen fleeing the area after the shots were heard. The woman was treated in hospital and is expected to recover.

The Yellowknife General Investigations Section continues to investigate this incident and is seeking the public's help in identifying two of the suspects. The RCMP is asking anyone who may recognize these individuals to call the RCMP.

Additionally, the RCMP is asking anyone who lives in the area of Bigelow Crescent and Williams Avenue who may have surveillance camera, door bell camera or dash cam footage from June 17th between 10 PM and midnight, to call investigators.
