On April 4, 2023, at approximately 2:15 pm, Snow Lake RCMP received a report of a body having been found outside a business, located on Lakeshore Drive, in Snow Lake.
Officers attended and located the body of a 44-year-old male, from Thompson, lying in the snow.
The cause of death has yet to be determined but it is believed he had been outside for a period of time, where the temperature had dropped to a low of -24C.
Snow Lake RCMP, along with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, continue to investigate.
