On October 16, 2023, Prince Joint Forces Operations (JFO), with assistance from Summerside Police Service, Prince District RCMP and RCMP Provincial General Investigation Section, executed a search warrant at a residence on St. Raphael Road, in St Raphael, PEI.
Prince District JFO executed a search warrant at a residence on St. Raphael Road, in St Raphael, PEI. During the search police arrested six people and seized:
- 13 firearms, all long guns being rifles and shotguns,
- a taser,
- 115 grams of cocaine,
- 150 methamphetamine pills as well as a quantity of crystal methamphetamine,
- 14,600 contraband cigarettes,
- more than $8,000.00 in cash, and
- drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Most of the firearms were secured, however two were stored unsafely and charges are being considered for this. Additionally, other charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
