Services Restored: Residents of some northern RCMP detachment areas affected by SaskTel outage

Saskatchewan RCMP has been advised by Sasktel there is no longer a service outage in northwest Saskatchewan and surrounding communities.

Residents in these communities can now make phone calls to their local police of jurisdiction.

Residents of some northern RCMP detachment areas affected by SaskTel outage

Saskatchewan RCMP has been advised by SaskTel of a temporary internet, radio, wireless and landline service outage impacting the following northwest Saskatchewan and surrounding communities:

Green Lake, Beauval, Ile a la Crosse, Buffalo Narrows, La Loche, Turnor Lake, Waterhen Lake, Dillon, Pinehouse, Fond du Lac, and Patuanak. There may be additional outage in some communities.

Residents in affected areas should visit their local RCMP detachments for police assistance during these outages:

• Green Lake RCMP is located on 122 3rd Avenue in Green Lake
• Beauval RCMP is located on 9 Laliberte Avenue in Beauval
• Ile a la Crosse RCMP is located on Parcel 6 Lajeunesse Ave in Île-à-la-Crosse
• Buffalo Narrows RCMP is located on 300 Pedersen Ave in Buffalo Narrows
• La Loche RCMP is located on 1D Laloche Ave in La Loche
• Turnor Lake RCMP (satellite of Buffalo Narrows Detachment) is located on 1 Mathieu Ave in Turnor Lake
• Dillon RCMP (Satellite of Buffalo Narrows Detachment) is located on 218 Sylvestre St., in Buffalo River Dene Nation
• Pinehouse RCMP is located on Lot 13, Block 2, Hilltop Avenue in Pinehouse
• Fond du Lac RCMP is located on 243 Main Road, Fond-du-Lac
• Patuanak RCMP is located on 102 1st Street, in English River
