May 25, 2023, New Annan - The Prince District Joint Forces Operations (JFO) Unit has seized drugs and money as part of an ongoing investigation in New Annan, PEI.
On May 24, 2023, the Prince District JFO Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in New Annan and seized approximately a half ounce of methamphetamine, money and drug paraphernalia.
52-year-old New Annan man will appear in court at a later date to answer to possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking charges.
This investigation is ongoing.
This investigation was assisted by the Summerside Police Services Major Crime Unit.
The Prince District JFO Unit is comprised of members of the Prince District RCMP, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services.
