The Codiac Regional RCMP has arrested a 34-year-old man from Moncton, and seized drugs and weapons as part of an ongoing investigation.

On January 5, 2023, at approximately 11:30 a.m., members of the Codiac Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) executed a search warrant at a residence on Pacific Avenue in Moncton. During the search, police seized quantities of what are believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine. Police also seized several firearms including a .22 caliber handgun with a loaded magazine, several prohibited weapons, drug paraphernalia and cash. Police also recovered a stolen scooter.

A 34-year-old man from Moncton was arrested and later released from custody. He is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court in May 2023.
