Police make four arrests on two drug files.

September 6 2023, Charlottetown - Police made four arrests in two incidents in the last seven days resulting in the seizure of several types of drugs, and a gun. These incidents took place in Kings and Prince Counties.

Prince District Joint Forces Operations Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Summerside last Thursday. Police seized crack cocaine, hydromorphone, crystal methamphetamine and cash. A Prince County man and woman were arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking drugs and will appear in court at a later date. The Prince District JFO Drug Unit is comprised of members of the Prince District RCMP, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services.

Kings District RCMP officers were engaged in a traffic stop last night in Saint Mary's Road. As a result of this stop police arrested two Kings County men and seized cocaine, a long barrel firearm and cash. Both men are expected to appear in court at a later date to answer to drug and firearm related charges.
