Manitoba RCMP investigating death of 37-year-old male

On March 25, 2023, at 11:00 pm, Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) responded to a report of an unresponsive male located inside a residence in Opaskwayak, Manitoba.

MFNPS officers, along with EMS, attended to the address and located a 37-year-old male who was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police are seeking to speak to two individuals who stopped to assist the 37-year-old male in obtaining medical attention from EMS the night prior, on March 25, 2023, at approximately 1:30 am.

The death is being investigated as a homicide pending the results of the autopsy.
