June 19, 2023, Linkletter… Prince District JFO executed a search warrant on Friday June 16th at a residence in Linkletter. It resulted in the seizure of 6.7 oz of Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, two pellet guns and the arrest of a 32-year-old man.
In the morning of June 16th, Prince District JFO and East Prince RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Linkletter. Police arrested a 32-year-old man and seized 6.7 oz of Methamphetamine, two pellet rifles and drug paraphernalia. The accused was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, and was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on June 20th at 1:15 in Summerside Provincial Court. He is also facing another charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking charge for a previous occurrence. This investigation is ongoing.
The Prince District JFO and the East Prince RCMP were part of this investigation. The Prince District JFO drug unit is comprised of members of the Prince District RCMP, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services.
