Human remains that were found near West Point Beach, PEI, have now been positively identified as a missing 68-year-old man from Quebec.
On March 21, 2023, at approximately 2:45p.m., West Prince RCMP responded to a report that human remains had been found on a beach at West Point. A witness had been walking on the beach when they made the discovery.
On April 20, 2023, those remains were positively identified as a 68-year-old Man from Quebec, who had gone missing in the waters off the area of Cap-des-Rosiers in Quebec., on December 30, 2022.
