Update - Flin Flon RCMP investigating attempted murder

On June 14, 2023, RCMP arrested 28-year-old Riley Aaron Guiboche, of Winnipeg, in relation to this investigation.

He has been charged with 3 counts of Attempted Murder and a number of firearm-related offences.

Guiboche has been remanded into custody to appear in court at a later date.

Investigation continues.


On May 6, 2023, RCMP arrested 27-year-old David Anthony Benjamin Ross, of Flin Flon, in relation to this investigation.

On May 7, he was charged with Attempted Murder and a number of firearms-related offences.

Ross has been remanded into custody to appear in court at a later date.

Both victims remain in hospital in stable condition.

Investigation continues.​​​​


On May 4, 2023, at approximately 9:45 pm, Flin Flon RCMP received a report of shots fired at an address located on Ross Street in Flin Flon.

Officers immediately attended to the scene and located a 23-year-old female, from Flin Flon, with life-threatening injuries. She was taken to hospital where she was then transported by life-flight to Winnipeg where she remains.

RCMP received a subsequent update that an additional victim was identified, a 28-year-old male, who suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. He remains in hospital.


Investigators do not believe these were random acts.
