What: For the first time ever, Depot will be hosting a Mountie Maker obstacle race this Saturday, September 23, 2023. What is the Mountie Maker? It is Depot's first ever obstacle race that gives a sneak peek into the physical training of a Mountie! Adults and kids will be coming to take part and see what it takes to become a Mountie of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
When: Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM CST
Where: RCMP Academy, Depot Division in Regina, Saskatchewan
If you are planning to attend, here are a few things you need to know before booking your spot:
- The RCMP Academy is an active training site and a secure facility. Access is controlled. Photography or filming will be permitted only in designated areas and when given permission to do so.
- We suggest that you bring minimal equipment as the media availability will be taking place outdoors at the Start/Finish line.
- To attend, contact Depot Division Media Relations by email to RSVP your attendance. All media attendance requests must be submitted by 12:00 PM on Friday, September 22, 2023.
