Brandon Webb arrested on warrants and faces one new charge

On August 11, 2023, Whitehorse RCMP arrested Brandon Webb related to outstanding warrants. He remains in custody after a first court appearance on August 12.

In the early afternoon of August 11, police had received a call about Mr. Webb, based on social media reports of his warrants. Police attended the area where he had been reported, and soon located him in a vehicle around Two Mile Hill. When the front line officers attempted a traffic stop, Mr. Webb stopped and exited the vehicle then tried to run from the officers. He was arrested without further incident shortly afterwards.

In addition to multiple warrants for charges related to property crime and impaired driving, Brandon Webb now also has an additional charge of resisting a police officer in the execution of their duties. He had a first Territorial Court appearance in Whitehorse on August 12, 2023, and was remanded in custody pending future court appearances.
