St. Paul RCMP and partners arrest three for property related crimes

On the morning of Nov. 16, 2022, St. Paul RCMP received several reports regarding the location of a stolen vehicle as well as reports of suspicious people in the Town of Mallaig, Alta. St. Paul RCMP, with the assistance of Eastern Alberta District Criminal Intelligence Coordinator, General Investigation Services, Police Dog Services, Crime Reduction Unit and St. Paul Traffic Services located and arrested two adult males and one adult female in relation to this investigation.

A 50-year-old individual and a 38-year-old individual both residents of Saddle Lake, Alta., have been charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime less than $5000
  • Break, enter and mischief

The 50-year-old individual was released on conditions and will be appearing in St. Paul provincial court on Dec. 15, 2022. The 38-year-old individual was remanded into custody for St. Paul provincial court on Dec. 1, 2022.

A 37-year-old individual, a resident of Saddle Lake, Alta., has been charged with:

  • Possession of stolen property obtained by crime less than $5000
  • Operation while prohibited

The 38-year-old individual was remanded into custody for St. Paul provincial court on Dec. 7, 2022.
