As a result of the request to the public for additional victims to come forward, St. Albert RCMP have identified an additional victim. A 28-year-old individual of Edmonton has been additionally charged with the following offences on June 14, 2022:
- Sexual Exploitation
- Luring a Child
The 28-year-old individual has been released from police custody with conditions and is set to appear in court for these charges on June 20, 2022. As these matters are now before the courts, no further details surrounding these charges can be provided.

St. Albert RCMP investigate sexual exploitation involving teacher
St. Albert, Alta. - On February 23, 2022, the St. Albert RCMP began a historical Sexual Exploitation investigation. RCMP received information that a minor had been sexually exploited by a teacher. An investigation was conducted by the St. Albert RCMP resulting in a 28-year-old individual of Edmonton, being charged with the following offences:
- Sexual Exploitation
- Agree or arrange a sexual offence against a child
- Making sexually explicit material available to a child
- Making child pornography
- Possession of child pornography
The 28-year-old individual has been released from police custody with conditions and is set to appear in court on April 25, 2022. As these matters are now before the courts, no further details surrounding these charges can be provided.
St. Albert Victim Services Unit has been engaged to assist and have reached out to the victim.
