On June 6, 2022, at approximately 4:30 pm, Red River North RCMP received a report of remains found in a field east of Highway 8, close to Grassmere Road in the RM of West St. Paul. Officers attended immediately and were able to ascertain the deceased was a female between 40-50 years of age.
Through investigation, RCMP determined the deceased was Lori Ann Mancheese, 53, from Ebb and Flow First Nation.
Investigators are awaiting the results of an autopsy and continue to investigate the circumstances of Mancheese's death. At this point in the investigation, Mancheese's death appears non-criminal in nature.
