RCMP search residence after prohibited device seized by CBSA

On January 21, 2022, as a result of information received from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) of the seizure of a prohibited device, officers from Dauphin Detachment and the West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) executed a search warrant at a residence located in the RM of Grandview. The search of the residence resulted in the seizure of a prohibited firearm, a prohibited weapon and approximately 8 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

RCMP arrested 23-year-old Jordy Clyde Robertson, from the RM of Grandview, and remanded him into custody on charges including Possession of a Firearm knowing it's Possession is Unauthorized, Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Possess Firearm while Prohibited, Importing a Prohibited Device & Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. He is scheduled to appear in Dauphin Provincial court on January 24, 2022.
