RCMP investigating arson

The PEI RCMP is asking for the public's help with an investigation into an arson in Rosebank, PEI.

On July 15, 2022, at approximately 7:26 a.m., members of the West Prince RCMP detachment responded to a report of a structure fire at an abandoned house on Route 2 in Rosebank. Members of the Alberton Fire Department, and the Prince Edward Island Fire Marshals Office also attended. No one was injured, but the structure sustained significant damage.

The Fire Marshal Office has determined the fire was deliberately set.

The West Prince RCMP Detachment would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behavior in the vicinity of the house during the early morning hours of July 15. Anyone who has information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact the West Prince RCMP at 902-853-9300.
