RCMP investigates break and enter involving theft of a firearm

Meteghan RCMP is investigating a break and enter involving a theft of a firearm in Belliveaus Cove.

On November 12, at approximately 11 a.m., Meteghan RCMP responded to a report of a break-in to a residential garage on Hwy. 1 in Belliveaus Cove. RCMP officers learned that a Remington hunting rifle with a scope, hunting gear and lobster, valued at $3,000, were stolen sometime overnight.

The investigation is ongoing.
