On July 19, 2022, at 1:00 am, the Arviat RCMP responded to a fire on 1st Avenue where a shed was engulfed in flames. The Arviat fire department extinguished the fire. There were no injuries reported. The shed contained (3) three snowmobiles and (1) truck.
Witnesses saw three individuals leaving the area when the fire was reported. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Arviat RCMP at 867-857-0123.
