Parkland RCMP cooperate with Edmonton Police to locate stolen property and arrest wanted male

News release

On May 23, 2022, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Parkland RCMP were informed that Edmonton Police had followed a motorcycle with a stolen licence plate from Edmonton and into Spruce Grove. The motorcyclist stopped at a residence associated to 45-year-old individual of Spruce Grove. At the time, the 45-year-old individual had several outstanding warrants for his arrest, and was bound by conditions to remain inside the residence between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. daily.

Parkland RCMP attended the residence with Edmonton Police. The 45-year-old individual was located hiding in the garage and was arrested by police. The motorcycle, stolen licence plate, and a stolen ATV were recovered at the residence.

The 45-year-old individual has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of stolen property x2
  • Driving while prohibited
  • Failure to comply with conditions of a court order

The 45-year-old individual remains in custody and is next set to appear in court in Edmonton on May 27, 2022.
