Parkland RCMP charge two males following shooting in Enoch First Nation

On May 3, 2022, Enoch RCMP and Parkland RCMP members responded to a report of a shooting on Enoch First Nation. A 44-year-old male victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Parkland RCMP General Investigative Services (GIS) took over the investigation and were able to identify two male suspects. They have both been arrested and charged with attempted murder.

A 30-year-old individual, of Lethbridge, Alta., was arrested on May 11, 2022, and a 35-year-old individual, of Edmonton, was arrested on June 14, 2022, with the assistance of Edmonton Police Service.

Both were remanded into custody and are set to appear in court in Stony Plain today, June 22, 2022.

The victim has since recovered from his injuries and has been released from medical care.
