Update - Moose Lake RCMP investigating homicide

Tia Grey has been arrested and is now in police custody.

The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.


On August 17, 2022, RCMP charged 23-year-old Lacey Jade Nasekapow with 2nd Degree Murder in relation to the January 4, 2022, homicide of a 28-year-old male in the community.

RCMP continue to search for 23-year-old Tia Rolande Grey and request anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the Moose Lake RCMP @ 204-678-2307 or submit a secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.


Moose Lake RCMP are requesting the community's assistance in locating 23-year-old Tia Rolande Grey who has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder in relation to the January 4, 2022, homicide of a 28-year-old male in the community.

On January 4, 2022, at approximately 6:05 am, Moose Lake RCMP responded to a report of an injured male located outside of a residence on Portage Road in the community.

Officers, along with EMS, arrived at the residence to find a 28-year-old male with life-threatening injuries who was transported to the hospital in The Pas where he was pronounced deceased. His death is being treated as a homicide.

Moose Lake RCMP, along with Major Crime Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate.
