Leduc RCMP charge female following complaints of mischief

On May 24, 2022, at approximately 5:50 p.m., Leduc RCMP received multiple reports of an unknown suspect damaging vehicles in the area of Caledonia in Leduc.

Leduc RCMP attended the area and made patrols, but the suspect was not located at that time.

At approximately 1:35 a.m., on May 25, 2022, Leduc RCMP located and arrested a female matching the description of the suspect involved in the damage to vehicles in the Grant MacEwan area in Leduc.

A 39-year-old female of Maskwacis, Alta. was charged with the following:

  • Mischief under $5,000. X4
  • Identity fraud

Following a judicial hearing, she was remanded in custody to appear in Leduc provincial court on June 2, 2022.
