In consultation with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, Ferryland RCMP has confirmed the body found in the ocean near Witless Bay is that of missing man Loyola Hartery.
Mr. Hartery was last seen departing his Portugal Cove South residence on an all-terrain vehicle on the morning of June 17, 2022. His body was recovered from the water yesterday.
