Bay Roberts RCMP responded to a report of an assault on October 25, 2022. As a result, Devon Fitzpatrick, a 34-year-old man from Bay Roberts, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
At approximately 6:00 p.m. on October 25, police received the report of a male with serious injuries at a residence in Spaniard's Bay. Upon arrival, it was determined that a serious assault had occurred and a weapon was used. The male was transported to hospital for his injuries.
Devon Fitzpatrick was arrested, appeared in court and was charged with aggravated assault. He attended court and was remanded into custody to appear again on November 2, 2022.
The investigation is continuing.
