On 5 May, 2021 Whitehorse RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Prospector Road. Police located a number of unsecured firearms including prohibited firearms and a restricted firearm. Also seized were prohibited weapons and ammunition. A male resident was subsequently arrested and pending further investigation, may be charged with numerous firearm related offences.
