On November 15, 2021, at approximately 11:05 pm, The Pas RCMP responded to a report of threats at a residence in the RM of Kelsey.
An adult male reported that he had attended a residence and was threatened with a firearm by another male.
The investigation led officers to identify a suspect and officers attended his residence in the RM of Kelsey. The male was arrested without incident, along with a female who was also in the residence.
A search warrant was executed at the home and a firearm was seized.
A 51-year-old female from Pukatawagan is facing a charge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm. She was released from custody with an upcoming court date.
Anthony Ross, 57, from the RM of Kelsey, has been charged with;
- Assault With a Weapon
- Uttering Threats
- Pointing a Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm when Knowing Possession is Unauthorized
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Using a Firearm in the Commission of an Offence
- Weapons Possession Contrary to Order
The Pas RCMP continue to investigate.
