Halifax District RCMP is investigating after a motor vehicle collision on Forest Hills Parkway in Cole Harbour.
At approximately 12:49 p.m. yesterday, police were notified of a motor vehicle collision on Forest Hills Parkway in Cole Harbour. Police, fire and EHS attended the scene and found that a motorcycle had been travelling north when it crossed into oncoming traffic and struck an oncoming vehicle.
The motorcycle rider, a 59-year-old man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The occupants of the vehicle struck by the motorcycle were uninjured.
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
