RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect who escaped custody in relation to a federal investigation led out of Quebec RCMP.
Earlier this morning, Quebec RCMP arrested a 32-year-old man identified as Karin Marley Simons. Simons was taken to Dartmouth General Hospital for assessment where he escaped from police custody.
Simons is described as a black man, 5-foot-9, 160 pounds with black hair in dreadlocks and dark brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black shorts and was barefoot.
