RCMP investigate vessel sinking off Saulnierville

At 4:47 a.m. this morning Meteghan RCMP responded to a report of a fishing vessel sinking in Saulnierville.

The vessel was tied up since yesterday July 30 at approximately 5:00 p.m. at the Saulnierville Wharf in Saulnierville. No one was aboard the boat at the time of the sinking, there were no reports of any injuries, and no other property was damaged.

The cause of the sinking is unknown at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Meteghan RCMP at 902-645-2326.
