Pembina Valley RCMP respond to fatal motorcycle collision

On July 17, 2021, at approximately 3:50 pm, Pembina Valley RCMP received a report from a passing motorist that there was a motorcycle and injured driver in the ditch beside Highway 31 south of Darlingford in the RM of Pembina.

When officers arrived to the site of the collision, the 51-year-old male driver from the area was pronounced deceased on scene.

Initial investigation has determined the motorcycle was travelling northwest on a curve, left the roadway, and struck an approach. The driver was thrown from the motorcycle. He was wearing a helmet.

A RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
