A joint operation between the New Brunswick RCMP and Fredericton Police Force has led to the seizure of a firearm, various types of drugs, and chemicals believed to be used in the production of crystal methamphetamine.
On April 22, 2021, members of both forces executed a search warrant at a residence on Davis Street in Fredericton, N.B. The residence was unoccupied at the time. During the search, police seized a firearm and ammunition. Police also seized what is believed to be cocaine, hydromorphone, an unknown powder and various chemicals believed to be used in the production of crystal methamphetamine. The chemicals were safely removed from the residence for proper disposal.
The investigation was conducted as part of coordinated law enforcement efforts, focusing on disrupting and dismantling the trafficking of illegal drugs in our province, targeting those causing the most harm in our communities.
